Weight-related goals
Separate a personally appropriate health goal from the small behavior you can actually choose today.
Choose an observable cue
If a qualified clinician has helped you choose a suitable behavior, attach its planning step to a normal routine such as preparing tomorrow’s schedule. Do not use a weigh-in as a daily judgment.
Try this worked practice
Choose one non-punitive behavior from your existing guidance, such as preparing for an appropriate movement session or a regular meal. Specify the preparation you control instead of setting a target rate of weight loss here.
Decide the smaller or safer version
When illness, food access or another constraint intervenes, record the constraint and choose a safe next step. Do not compensate with restriction or extra exercise to satisfy an app.
Record what actually happened
Record the chosen preparation or behavior without uploading body photos, weight history or medical records. A recorded action is not evidence of weight change.
Review one concrete adjustment
Review feasibility and wellbeing, not only an outcome number. If tracking increases distress, stop and seek appropriate support; discuss health targets with a qualified professional.
