A clear next step at work
Use a small planning loop without uploading workplace information or promising performance gains.
Choose an observable cue
At an agreed work transition, such as closing the daily planning meeting, identify the next action you have authority to take.
Try this worked practice
Write one specific deliverable and its starting step: “outline the three decision options before the review.” Keep the commitment within working hours and your actual role.
Decide the smaller or safer version
If priorities conflict, ask for clarification through your normal work process. A smaller task is useful only if it still serves the agreed priority; do not silently replace important work with easy checkmarks.
Record what actually happened
Record a generic action label, not customer information, internal documents or employer-confidential details. Follow your workplace’s approved-tool policy before using AI.
Review one concrete adjustment
Ask whether the routine helped you start relevant work or merely added reporting. Adjust the cue or stop the routine if it duplicates an existing system.
